Dear Journal,
Happy 4th of July! I’ve had such a great time today. First, we went to Mary’s house to eat break-fast and watch the parade. It was great! I got soaked by this kid with a fire extinguisher full of water.
After that we headed down here to Ben + Sue’s house. We’re going to spend the night. I told Mic I would call her before we left Massachusetts. When we get to NY I have to send her a postcard. Mike and Molly want one too, so I’ll get one for all three. I miss all of my friends, but I know I’m going to see everyone on Sat.
I went to the fireworks tonight. They were great!

Ali, as i was just scrolling down my newsfeed i came upon this.. my daughters down for her nap, so i actually have time to sit down and i cant even tell you how much im enjoying reading this.. its bringing back tons of memories! i love the entry about the bike jump, i SO remember when that happened and you had to get stitches !!
