Dear Journal,

I just got you last night at my birthday party.  It was a sleepover and we did karaoke and played twister.  Before it got dark, me and Amanda had a championship for hula-hooping.  She won but it was fun.  It took about five minutes for me to stop.

I got a lot of good stuff.

We stayed up until 4:30 in the morning!  We definitely pulled an all-nighter.  It was fun.

This morning we had doughnuts and bagels.  Mic was the last one to leave.  She’s my best friend.

On the next two pages I’ll write my facts and on one of them I’ll write down all my friend’s names.  I hope I can keep up with this journal.  I’m usually too busy or I forget to write.

p.s.: on the third and fourth page I wrote people in my class and more friends.
